The Ascent

This 25-story, 259-unit apartment high-rise is the world's tallest mass timber structure at 284 feet. The mass timber or cross-laminated timber technique uses layers of wood pressed together to create columns, beams and other building frame components. This technique provides a lower carbon footprint than conventional construction. The Ascent is scheduled to open summer 2022.
